Nur Jahan, the most powerful empress of the 17th century Mughal Empire, is said to have discovered Rooh Gulab, the finest essential oil extracted from rose petals. Legend has it that she loved to put crushed rose petals in her bathtub and one day after letting the water cool overnight, she discovered an oily layer on top, which she distilled into her famous rose perfume. This unisex, sophisticated rose fragrance pays tribute to her achievements and talents.
